Delicious Garlic Green Beans

Spice up your green beans with this healthy recipe dedicated to garlic lovers.

Green beans are a great side dish and are made in a variety of ways all over the world. However, my favorite way to cook green beans is with simple, organic ingredients that make green beans exciting to eat. This is a recipe that I’ve watched my mother make my entire life, and I even enjoyed it as a kid!

Ingredients (for a party of two):

3/4 to 1 lb of green beans (or 1 package, depending on how hungry you are!)

2 campari tomatoes

1 tbsp of olive oil

2 cloves of garlic

A pinch of salt

Boil a medium-sized pot of water (if you have a metal pot strainer/steamer, use it!). Once your water is boiling, add the green beans. Let the green beans boil (or steam) for about 10-15 minutes.

Once your green beans are soft, remove them from the pot and strain the water. Then, grab a medium sized bowl and add your green beans. Next, chop up your garlic into semi-fine pieces and add to the bowl. Add your olive oil and salt and mix together. Then cut your campari tomatoes into 4’s and stir into the bowl. That’s it! This simple greens dish is full of protein and rich flavor.
