Today’s Tea is how the emergence of lilac purple in this years fashion trends will eventually replace the famed ‘millennial pink.’
Buckle up buttercup, here’s the evidence:

This sporty look is flirty and comfortable. But the lilac/lavender purple in the entire Kate Spade 2019 collection is undeniable.

Tom Ford knows how to perfectly pair a giant lilac faux-fur coat with a deeper purple pair of stilettos. Amazing choice, not a trace of millennial pink in sight (Note the models eyeshadow, also a deep purple).

This gorgeous sequin dress fits the deep purple theme and pairs well with the faux-fur deep purple shawl.

This is a beautiful boss-lady look in all purple. The heels are stunning and the velvet in the jacket complements the shirt perfectly!

Another amazing lilac outfit from Cushnie. The faux-fur jacket is plumped to perfection and the hemline on those bell-bottom pants is so delicately perfect. Do you feel the lilac wave coming yet?

This lilac is so delicate and beautiful…much like the millennial pink!

Everything about this show was gorgeous, most notably the amount of lilac present in the carefully embroidered gowns.

Notice how this lilac looks almost like millennial pink? Very clever! This color is so subtle, yet powerful.
I predict that this color is going to be the end of the millennial pink craze. This color is a great replacement for the millennial pink because it’s subtle, delicate, and powerfully universal. Step aside millennial pink, lilac is here to stay, and that’s today’s tea.
